The AIW3X (40W single channel) series is used when high performance reproduction is required to achieve highly dynamic, high sound pressure (i.e. very loud) levels. Typical locations would be main home listening areas, home cinema installations, commercial areas such as restaurants, bars, retail premises and malls, and conference rooms and halls. The AIW4X (40W two channel) series is a very high performance two channel audio source for use in the home where it is not justified to install more than one device. It produces high quality audio at very high levels without compromising style or design. Typical locations would be bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchens and hallways. This series is also designed for use in hotel bedrooms where one channel is used for local entertainment whilst the other may be used directly by the hotel information system (i.e. for emergencies) even though the local in-room entertainment is switched off. Note:
Dual channel devices are for use in situations where for example, all stereo information is required in the room, but where wide stereo separation is not required. Also, one channel can be fitted with 100V transformer for separate connection to centralised voice evacuation system in commercial installations.
