This is the second time that Unique Automation has exhibited at this premier kitchen and bathroom show. A biennial event, KBB was eagerly anticipated by everyone in the industry and didn’t disappoint.
On the stand were three demonstrator units showing various methods of controlling the bathomatic system, plus the iShower and bathovision. A tablet version of the bathovision and LCD privacy glass solution were installed behind a glass splashback provided by our stand partners Sekon Glassworks. Unique Automation and Sekon Glassworks teamed up to offer intelligent solutions to the kitchen and bathroom industry from integration of TV screens and privacy LCD glass to colour illuminated glass for splash backs, worktops and floor panels.
The stand certainly had impact and a steady stream of visitors stopped in their tracks to look more closely. The new electronic control and basic interface were well received. We detected a generally more optimistic view that luxury was going to be selling well in 2010 and beyond. Retailers, specifiers and manufacturers showed a keen interest in our various products and as a result we are talking to several prominent bathroom brands about developing products and software applications specifically for them.
