CEDIA Expo 2009

The Home Technology Showcase held in London was another major success for Unique Automation. The growing company drew much attention with its new offerings particularly in the area of iPhone application development (well supported by hardware advances).

In the spotlight was a version of the iShower shower range with its associated iPhone application called, not surprisingly, iShower. The kit at the show can supply up to 100 litters per minute to four outlets with individual volume and temperature control at each. The iShower provides remote control for each outlet, shows the difference between desired and actual water temperature as well as the temperature in the shower area. There is no shower head or system too big…. including the big rain.

The new bathovision mirror finish (click to see the leaflet) was very well received with orders being placed at the show. iLux for light management with the colour lighting control was also very popular.

Many visitors came prepared with iPhone apps and had a hands on experience with bathomatic and bathovision. Users were happy to finally have a useful iPhone application.

The media coverage was extensive. From the online additions of the Telegraph and other papers to the printed edition of London’s Metro. Many well known Blogs also chose to feature our iPhone applications. Our website showed a peak in views as visitors returned home and came for further information.
